Jesus says that "No disciple is superior to the teacher, yet when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher." Our goal is to be transformed into Christ likeness. We are recreated in Christ. Life on earth (and even after in purgatory) is about this transformation with our cooperation. Like an athlete has a training program, like a gardener a process, what is your program for spiritual growth? It must be Christ centered. Let's plan now for this Lent's  growth.

Jesus presents the Golden rule, why and how to follow it.  "To those who hear".  This is perhaps some of the toughest teaching of Jesus in scripture. How we treat our enemies shows the world if we are Children of our Father in Heaven.

Are you looking for a good friend? Jesus wants to be your friend. He goes home to His home church, the Synagogue where he grew up, and reads from scripture. Of all the passages, he choose Isaiah 61 to describe what is His mission. He proclaims a Jubilee Year, at time of new beginning where debts are forgiven and captives set free. Do you feel a need for a new a Jubilee blessing? Then open your heart to the Holy Spirit, listen and PRAY!

Your Builder Shall Marry You; Your God Shall Rejoice in You (Jn 2:1-11) (2 OT)

God marries us in Christ Jesus, the bridegroom of the church. John's gospel uses the image of a marriage to show how God relates to us in the new covenant. But before we can fall in love with God, we must date Him, that is get to know him and spend time with Him.
