Un homila de Padre Pablo sobre el Evangelio de San Juan 6:41-51. En el capitulo seis podemos ver el total de nuestra salvacion. Jesus nos da pan de vido. Primero, significa La Palabra. Gastamos tiempo "comiendo" la palabra? Pero tambien Jesus Es El Pan de Vida. Este significa la incarnacion, que era necesario para nuestra salvacion. Jesus tambien es el carne dio para la vida del mundo. Este significa su pasion. Finalmente, Tenemos que comer y beber su cuerpo y sangre. Este significa la eucharistia. Cuando recebirlos estamos participando en la unica sacrificio del Senor, y su muerte y su resurection. Estamos participando en nuestra salvacion, y hacemos parte de su cuerpo, la iglesia. Trust in God Frees us to Be Generous to Others (Jn 6:1-15) (17 OT)

Jesus' multiplication of the Loaves is a miracle that shows how the God who created the universe, also wants to be involved in even the smallest details of our life. He wants us to turn to Him when we are in need, when we feel overwhelmed, or inadequate. He invites us to offer to him, what little we may feel we have, and He can multiply it to do great things. This teaches us Trust/Faith. Our trust in God, frees us to be generous to others. Then, our generosity to others, helps heal a broken world!

Homily for the 16th week of Ordinary Time. Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise in the Old Testament to Himself Shepherd his people. Jesus founded a Church that is authentic and He has given it authority. But He has also given us the Holy Spirit, and written His law in our hearts. We have both a personal and a communal relationship with Jesus, and He uses both to Guide us. But we must follow. How? Give Him permission, then take time to listen.
