A Funeral for a Friend: Br. George 5-11-19

Br. George Cherrie OFM Conv. February 27, 1936 - April 21, 2019. The gospel from Matthew (Mt 25:14-30) contains the parable of the servants with differing amounts of talents, each are commended not for how many talents they have, but for how they use their talents. Brother George was an example of one who had many talents, but also used them well. Rest in peace Brother George.

Jesus is Risen, but What Difference Does That Make in Our Lives? (Jn 21:1-19) (3 ET)

Yes Jesus is Risen, but how does that affect our lives? We all have mission and purpose, given by the Resurrection. Each Called to work for God, he will provide for our needs. We fall short, but that does not matter to God. He will accept us wherever we are, but loves us too much to leave us there. He feeds us in this Eucharist, to help us grow towards perfect love and perfect service. Take it just one step at a time!

He is Risen! But Can You Prove It? (1ET) (Jn 20:1-9)

Jesus is Risen! Even when we humans don't believe, or find it difficult, all Creation Joins in Praising God!  This is the homily only of the Easter Sunday Mass, similar to that given at the Sunrise Mass at the Beach. This homily also goes over some of the "proofs" that Jesus is Lord, and really did walk this earth and Rise from the Dead. But it also invites one to look at the best proof of all... listen!
