The Risen Lord is Still Present Today and We Are His Witnesses (Lk 24:35-48)

The Risen Lord is still truly present today with his church just not bodily. He is present in the gathering of the community, in our prayers, in the Scriptures, and in the breaking of the bread. Hear  one of his witnesses, Jean Marie,  give a testimony.  Praise God he still has witnesses today!

The ResurrectionMakes All Things New (Jn 20:19-31)

The resurrection is not only for us to go to heaven, it’s to transform the earth back into the original creation God intended from the beginning, and will be established at the end. For this to happen, we must boldly live our faith in the world by the power of God’s resurrected life in us.

The Best Evidence That Jesus is Lord is The Lest Known (Jn 20:1-9)

Of all the evidence that Jesus is God and is risen, the most persuasive are the least known. Although there is ample evidence that people give to “prove” Jesus is Lord, ultimately the most convincing is the miracles he works in our ordinary lives.

The Other Side of the Cross (Jn 12:20-33)

Saint John’s Gospel presents Jesus on the cross as the image to meditate upon to grow in deeper understanding, and appreciation of our salvation in Christ Jesus. There is also another side of the cross, with no body, for Jesus is risen and has shared through the sacraments in his church the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit wants to give us the fruits outlined in Galatians 5:22 and many more gifts, but we must empty ourselves to make room for these gifts.
