Likewise, we can see our own lives the same way as a struggle, or as a Joy. Jesus is inviting us into the joy of life’s struggles, by the miracle of discipleship.

Wow, today’s readings suggest that I can be held responsible for another person’s sin if I don’t speak up. That is because love calls us to help everyone become a better person and sin prevents that. The purpose of our lives is to become the best version of ourselves, And a true friend, or a true brother or sister in Christ, lovingly helps others do the same.

The news of our salvation in Jesus Christ is Good News! It fills us with that fire of God's love in our hearts that drives on giving us strength and comfort in our journey. But in this sinful world, we will encounter difficulties and trials. Jesus wants to warn us today that to be his Disciple is difficult, so let's lean on His strength and the comfort of knowing that we are with Him. When we suffer with Him we will also share also in His victory and resurrection.
