The Need to Pray Always for the Battle We Are In (Lk 18:1-8)
Sunday Oct 16, 2022
Sunday Oct 16, 2022
Christ sits at the right hand of God constantly interceding for His Church. Here on earth we are The Body of Christ and our prayers are still an important part of His work as they are joined with his prayer for the coming of the kingdom. We do indeed work physically, for the good of the world, and that is more understandable to us, but our greatest work is our spiritual work; that is our prayer for the good of the world.

A Mustard Seed of Faith Is All We Need (Lk 187:5-10)
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
It never feels like we have enough faith. It always feels like it’s a mustard seed, and not enough. However that is enough, if we act on it God will provide. Let us not be discouraged by what seems like small faith. If we all acted on the little faith we have, it would be enough to do the impossible. God wants to increase our faith, and our hope, for this he has given us his love. So let us pray that God increases our faith, hope, and love.

Sometimes we think of caring for the poor as an option that is good to do. Today’s readings show that it is not an option it’s a command that God takes very seriously, and can be the difference between heaven and hell. Sunday Sep 11, 2022
Sunday Sep 11, 2022
It can be easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves with others and feeling that we are not as blessed, or that we work harder, or be jealous of them, or angry at them. But when this happens it’s helpful to recognize these feelings are just a sign that we are not fully aware of all that God has really blessed us with in Christ Jesus. Praying for the grace to recognize what God has done for us helps us to see our lives, the lives of others, in the world much differently.
