Take All I Am Lord, All I Have Lord, and Multiply It (Jn 6:1-15) (17 OT)

Take All I Am Lord, All I Have Lord, and Multiply It (Jn 6:1-15) (17 OT)

If we seek first the Kingdom of God, God will provide for our physical needs. This frees us to be generous to others.  At times we feel we cannot address an issue, or are at the end of our rope and have no more. But God invites us, take what little you have left, offer it to Me, and I will multiply it.  This one act can help us in our personal lives, and with all the world's many problems.

Knowing human pastors will always fall short, Jesus becomes our Good Shepherd. True God and True Man. But he leads his flock through the Church He established. The Church is the Body of Christ, and the Eucharist is the main event, it's heartbeat.

We have been made for mission! We all want to be part of something bigger than us. Many search for that in job, political party, country. These are good, but are only shadows of our first & highest call, to share in the eternal Mission of Jesus Christ.

Be Amazed at what God Has Done! That Leads to Faith! (Mk 6:1-6a) (14 T)

It is Amazing the Jesus was Amazed at the lack of Faith he encountered in His hometown of Nazareth.  Elsewhere people were Amazed at Jesus' mighty deeds. Is it perhaps because they were too familiar with Jesus? How about us? Having grown up in a Christian Culture, perhaps in the church, do we too take for granted the work of God is Jesus? Are we too familiar with our teachings and Jesus to let them really Amaze us? Faith is a basing our life on Jesus, this takes a miracle, a mighty deed from Jesus. It can happen if we make room for that miracle. Take time today to be Amazed at what God has done for us, while we were still sinners, in Christ Jesus.
